The training programme takes into account the most up-to-date content resulting from the scientific and business experience of the lecturers, among whom are top-class experts-practitioners of the profession, among others:

Bartłomiej Walas – Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation at WSTiE. Graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow and the Institute of Higher Studies on Tourism at the Sorbonne, PhD in physical culture, specialist in tourism policy and tourism marketing. He combined his scientific and didactic work with the practice of tourism economy in managerial positions in the Department of the Institute of Tourism and in the Cracow Tourist Company Wawel-Tourist. Since 1996 he has worked for the Office of Physical Culture and Tourism, and later for the Polish Tourist Organization, holding the position of director of the Polish Tourist Information Centre in Paris from 1996 to 2008, responsible for the promotion of Polish tourism on the French market. Between 2008 and 2017, he served as Vice President of the Polish Tourist Organization, responsible for strategy and promotion on foreign markets. He conducts numerous monographic lectures and trainings on territorial marketing. He is the author of the concept of the Marketing Strategy of Poland in the Tourism Sector for 2012-2020 and, among others, of the brand strategy of Polish Prestige Hotels&Resorts. Member of the Social Council of the Minister of Sport and Tourism of the first term. Member of the Council of the Polish Hotel Industry Association.

Janusz Mitulski – Senior Director of Network Development at Marriott International, responsible for network development in Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic States and Ukraine. In 2015 he moved to Mariott International from Horwath HTL Polska, a consulting firm, where he was a partner and head of the hotel and tourism consulting team for over five years. During this period he was involved in nearly 200 projects – both in Poland and in other countries of our region. Before starting his career in consulting, he worked in the Qubus Hotel chain. He was a director of two hotels there and then, for over five years, the director of sales and marketing for the whole chain in Poland. For many years he was a vice president and then a member of the Council of the Polish Hotel Industry Association and a trainer at the Hotelier Academy. He is a co-author of the Hotel Guidebook and the Hotel Trends Poland & CEE conference. He graduated from the Law Faculty of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and holds an MBA from the Poznan University of Economics. He is also a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), an international professional organization.

Ireneusz Węgłowski – Vice-President of the Management Board of Orbis S.A., President of the Polish Hotel Industry Association. Mr. Węgłowski has been holding the position of the vice-president of Orbis S.A. since 1991 where he was active in the field of hotel property management. He also participated in the restructuring of the company aimed at changing its business model and focusing on hospitality as the company’s core business. He is an experienced practitioner and specialist in hotel transactions. He has successfully participated in a number of non-strategic real estate disposal projects for the company. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and completed a Professional Development Program at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca (USA). Since 2014, Ireneusz Węgłowski has been the President of the Polish Hotel Industry Association – an organization representing the interests of Polish hoteliers at the local, national and EU levels and a member of HOTREC, an international organization of hotels, restaurants and cafes in Europe.

Marcin Ziobro – for almost 20 years connected with tourism and hotel industry (Orbis/Accor group, Novotel Kraków City West – corporate sales manager; sales and marketing director in Vienna International Hotels & Resorts: Andel’s Hotel Cracow and Chopin Hotel Cracow, regional sales director). From 2015 to 2017 sales and marketing director and general manager at Hilton Garden Inn Krakow Airport, author of CSR activities programme. From 2017-2019 Director of the boutique Bonerowski Palace* in the heart of Krakow. Since September 2019 General Manager of two large hotels and a conference centre in Krakow – Best Western Premier and Best Western Express. Independent business coach, author of trainings on sales, customer service and sustainability in hotels.

Andrzej Przeniosło – since May 2016 General Manager of the Nosselia Hotel in the vicinity of Warsaw. Hotelier with over 30 years of experience, co-founder of the first team responsible for opening the Marriott Hotel and long-time employee of the Jan III Sobieski Hotel. General Manager of numerous hotels, including Król Kazimierz in Kazimierz Dolny, City Park Residence in Poznań, Warszawianka Hotel in Jachranka, Grand Hotel Rzeszów, Hotel Bristol in Rzeszów and Hilton Garden Inn Krakow Airport. Winner of the prestigious Hotel Success Awards for one of the best Hilton Garden Inn hotels in the world.

Agnieszka Kasprzak – Revenue Manager at Louvre Hotels Group. She has been working in the hotel industry since 1990. She started her adventure with hospitality in Victoria InterContinental hotel (currently Sofitel Victoria) in the reservations department. Over 15 years she held various positions related to sales and marketing of hotel services until she became a Revenue Manager at the hotel. Since 2005 she has been involved in implementation of RM methods in Orbis Hotel Group as Regional Revenue Manager. In April 2011 she took over the position of Revenue Manager at Louvre Hotels Group, present in Poland under the hotel brands: Golden Tulip, Campanile, Premiere Classe. Since September 2017, she has held the position of International RM Director at Louvre Hotels Group.

Dorota Malinowska – co-founder of Pro Value, responsible for hotel sector. She gained her expertise in hotel real estate during 20 years of work in the industry, during which she managed financial departments and supervised operational procedures in renowned Warsaw hotels. She managed the financial department of the Le Regina hotel and the Diana Residence in Warsaw. She cooperated with Cushman & Wakefield where she held the position of a hotel property expert. Graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics.

Tomasz Schweda – one of the most recognizable and dynamic hoteliers of the young generation in Poland, a passionate hotelier. General Manager of Mercure Krakow Stare Miasto, the flagship hotel of the Mercure brand in Europe. “Hotelier of the Year 2018” in the category Hotelier up to the age of 35. Panelist at the largest conferences and industry meetings in the country. He gained experience in the industry by working in chains: Accor, Sheraton, Marriott, Vienna House, Mamaison Hotels & Residences, where he went through almost all levels of the hotel hierarchy, from operational positions, through those related to sales and marketing, to comprehensive hotel management. He graduated from a university of economics, majoring in Management with a specialization in Euromarketing in Tourism and Hospitality and in Business Communication. He also completed postgraduate studies in managerial skills. Privately, he is interested in music, plays the violin and the piano. He spends his free time travelling and exploring unique hotels around the world.

Arkadiusz Dawidowski – Managing Director of ForSpa and President of the European Spa Foundation in Poland. Since 2005 he has been involved in consulting and spa design and equipment of hotel spas. He is the author of unique and cult spa concepts such as: Głęboczek Vine Resort & Spa, Villa Park Med. & Spa, Czarny Potok Luxury Collection, Narvil Conference & Spa, Kormoran Wellness Medical Spa. Arkadiusz Dawidowski is also a valued international spa consultant: Poland’s delegate to the World Spa & Wellness Summit and the creator of the European Spa Congress in Poland.

Wiktor Siegel – a consultant, coach and trainer with over 15 years of experience. Founder and co-owner of exploHR project company, specializing in research and implementation of changes in organizations. He has over 20 years of experience in management, marketing and sales. He has lectured and conducted workshops in Polish and English, among others in Austria, Belgium, Finland, India, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, USA, Ukraine, UK and Italy. He specializes in project management, change management, strategy implementation, leadership, motivation, coaching, stress management and wellness strategies.

Joanna Kulesza – a graduate of the Poznan School of Banking. Currently she is using her several years’ experience in hotel industry in Profitroom – a leader among providers of technology for hotels. Trainer and consultant in the field of sales and marketing, pricing policy and reception management. She held managerial positions in one of the OST Gromada hotels, for 10 years she created the structure of IBB Andersia Hotel, where she held the position of revenue & front office manager. For several years she has been actively involved in Hotel Market Institute conducting trainings, audits and consultations.

Anna Jędrocha – an expert in the MICE industry, active member of Polish tourism organizations. Founder and President of the Board of the last three terms of the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland. Until May 2017 she headed one of the largest business self-government organizations in Polish tourism – the Cracow Chamber of Tourism. She is also a member of the International Congress & Convention Association. Professionally associated with Krakow companies: Symposium Cracoviense, a professional congress organiser, and Intercrac DMC, where she is President of the Board. In 2013 she received the prestigious MP Power Award in the Meeting Planner DMC/PCO category.

The course is directed to: – personnel employed in the industry, interested in broadening their qualifications and updating their knowledge as well as further developing their professional competences, – persons interested in obtaining new qualifications necessary to undertake professional duties in the industry, – persons planning to run their own business.
